Operator

Experienced operator with underground utilities and earthwork experience.

Requirements and skills

  • At least 5 years of heavy civil work or underground utilities experience
  • At least 5 years as a mainline equipment operator
  • Ability to operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, rollers, and site-preparation equipment
  • Knowledge of grades, slopes, compaction, drainage, and underground utility installation
  • Ability to lead a team when a supervisor is not present
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work at multiple Greater Seattle Area sites

Pipe layer

A skilled pipe layer for water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire line utility systems.

Requirements and skills

  • 2+ years of pipe laying or underground utility installation experience
  • Ability to read plans and use pipe lasers and levels
  • Knowledge of site safety procedures and trench safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Civil construction, public works, or site development experience preferred
